Important Notes

Learning Program

Skiing is organized as a guided group lesson led by experienced instructors, ensuring a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment for all participants. Groups are split by age (adults and children learn separately) and by skiing level, so everyone progresses at their own pace.

Ski Resorts

Ski resorts may vary depending on participants' skiing abilities as well as snow and weather conditions.

Guests who do not ski are welcome to relax and enjoy the wellness facilities and swimming pool. Free time activities are not guided.

Getting There in Winter

Bohinjska Bistrica is a regular town, not a remote resort: shops and restaurants nearby, the train station is a 10 minute walk, and there is a large parking area at the apartments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bohinj good for beginner skiers?

Yes. The program is built around group ski lessons for beginners and improvers, and the resorts used (Kozji hrbet, Soriška Planina and Vogel) are well suited to learning rather than expert terrain. Quality and infrastructure are comparable to bigger Alpine resorts at roughly 30-40% lower cost than Austria or France.

Is there a ski school for children in Bohinj?

Yes. Groups are split by age, so children and adults learn separately, and further split by skiing level within each age group. Children up to 14 years old receive a €100 discount on the package price, and equipment rental for a child costs +€65 for the week if needed.

How much does a ski week in Slovenia cost?

The Bohinj Ski Week package starts at €1,650 for 1 person and goes up to €3,980 for 6 people, based on group size. As an example, a family of 2 adults and 2 children under 14, with full equipment rental for everyone, pays about €2,740 in total. The price includes accommodation, group ski lessons, and ski passes.

What is included in the price?

The package price includes the apartment stay, group ski lessons with an instructor, and ski passes for the program days. It does not include ski equipment rental (+€80 per adult, +€65 per child for the week), food, or travel to Bohinj.

Which ski resorts does the program use?

The program uses Kozji hrbet on Monday and Tuesday, Soriška Planina on Wednesday and Thursday, and Vogel on Friday. The exact resort used on a given day may change depending on snow conditions, weather, or the group's skiing level.

Do I need my own ski equipment?

No. Ski equipment rental for the week costs +€80 per adult and +€65 per child and can be arranged on arrival. If you bring your own equipment, you simply do not pay this fee.

How do I get to Bohinj in winter?

Bohinjska Bistrica is a regular town, not a remote resort: shops and restaurants are nearby, the train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartments, and there is a large parking area on site with EV charging available.

What if some of us already ski or do not ski at all?

Ski school is optional per person. If some members of your group already ski well, they can skip the lessons, and quotes are adjusted accordingly. Guests who do not want to ski at all are welcome to use the wellness facilities and swimming pool instead. Let us know the details in the booking form.

When do the ski weeks run?

Ski weeks run Sunday to Friday from December 13, 2026 to March 12, 2027. The full list of available weeks is shown in the date selector of the booking form below.
